On 14 and 15 March 2009

Event is open to all types of offroad vehicles.

The Jeepers of the North-East and the “Tutto Vapore” (Full Steam), thinking they could possibly contribute to “Little Federico’s” cause, has organized a weekend of offroad for all abilities: one stage is a nighttime soft-extreme trail (the boys from Tutto Vapore have built a difficult trail that is doable and fun) and a stage for the less prepared vehicles with variants.

It will be in the zone of Fontannafredda with transfer between stages using roadbook.

Jeepers can take advantage of this event to earn points in the Jeepers TROPHY, and for the more prepared vehicles with a winch and locker can test their ability on a more difficult natural trail.

1900, departure of the first team, near the track will be an area with sandwiches and drinks.
Sunday
1000, departure first team, sandwiches and drinks available all day.

COST
Euro 110.00 per team made up of driver and co-pilot, includes the entire weekend, dinner, gadgets and awards.
Euro 60.00 per team made up of driver and co-pilot, includes the events on Sunday, dinner, gadgets and awards.
Members of JES are reserved a discount of euro 10.00.
Mandatory the possession of the insurance card Uisp, may be requested for the cost of euro 20.00(valid till 31 December 2009)
The event will be covered by insurance in accordance with normative L.990

Briefly, for those who do not know Federico’ s history:
Federico is a five and a half years old child, son of one of our offroading friends, stricken by a serious brain tumor that is leaving him blind, also because during an operation his optic nerve was damaged. He already has received four operations in Italy, but they did not resolve the problem. His conditions are worsening as the days go by.

But there still is hope, another surgery in a specialized clinic in Huston, Texas, where Doc. Burzinsky operates. To follow this road, the last hope for Federico, are necessary 150.000 dollars. Federico’s parents, Valentina Massari and Corrado Sedmak, cannot afford the expenses, and so the S.S.N. (National Sanitary Service) will not cover the expenses.

Some laudable initiatives have been held by other offroad groups, and now Federico is in Paris (France), where Doc. Grill already conducted blood tests and an RM (Magnetic Resonance).

After the result of the tests Doc. Gill will begin an experimental therapy, which consist in a chemotherapy cocktail that usually is not used on children and/or in brain tumors, but in the past has had positive results (regression or arrest of tumor growth) in patients with Federico’s condition. Considering the therapy program Federico’s family must stay in Paris for other three months.

All that is collected, even a little, will be very important to continue his extreme fight.

Path

Exploiting the morphology of the terrain to create natural obstacles to overcome without the use of speed and with the driver’s ability. There will be two stages with four special trials for every stage.

Authorized vehicles and classes

ORIGINAL CLASS : not to exceed 3,500 kg (7,700lb.), necessary equipment: helmet, recovery point (hook or eyelet), seat belt minimum 2 point, 1 6 meter strap, 2 clevis rings (recommended differential lock) .

PREPARED CLASSE: not to exceed 3,500 kg (7,700lb.), necessary equipment: helmet, recovery point (hook or eyelet), seat belt minimum 2 point, must have winch of the correct size for the vehicle. Mandatory equipment: rollbar, rear differential lock (recommended front), 1 tree strap, 1 swing block, 1 6 meter strap, 4 clevis rings, leather work gloves.

Participants and Licensing

Only candidates with a valid driver’s license will be accepted. Every vehicle/team may be made up of: driver, who is registered and in possession of Uisp card and one passenger/co-pilot provided they are adult (+ 18 and they cannot drive during the event.

Verification of documentation e vehicles

Verification will be completed directly on the site of the event prior to acceptance of final registration.

]Description of event
The order of departure will be decided by drawing lots.

The event will take place in 2 natural trials for the PREPARED CLASS on Saturday night and three trials, Sunday, on artificial trails for both classes.

The trials will take place on well marked trails.

Only one vehicle will be allowed on each trail for every single trial, which will attempt to complete the trial in the lease amount of time without missing, touching the various doors and trail markers.

Classification and awards

The final classification will be announced at the end of the event, taking into consideration any penalties incurred during the trials and reported on each teams roadbook. The penelties are the following:

00 penalties- trial complete with no errors

Missed door- 10 minutes

Knocking over Door or marker stick- 5 minutes

Touching marker stick-1 minute

Breaking marker tape- 10 min.

Reverse/ backing up has no penelty

Insurance:
the event is covered by Insurance Uisp as required by law 990/69.

Awards will be given to the best three in each class.

Clams

All claims must be presented to the President of the Organization Committee in wtitting within 15 minutes of the announcement of the classification including a euro 50.00 deposit reimbursable only if the claim is accepted. The decision of the Organization Committee is final.

Every participant, by his registration declares:

To have read, understand and accept these Regulations in every part;

To relieve from all responsibility; the Responsible of the event, the Organization Committee and all the assistants to the event for damages (bodily and property) incurred and/or inflicted by/to third parties before, during and after the event;
Guarantee the psychological/physical integrity of the team and all components and accept all responsibility for the team.
